- We all have friends who know almost nothing about us but we know everything and those friends who we don’t know but know a lot about us.
- We all have friends who act like they are more important than family. Those whose who are more important than family
- We all have family members that are friends. And have those who act like you are not family.
- We have people that love us but we just don’t like (just, naturally without reason). And have those who will do everything on earth but still we would die for them.
We are surrounded by all kinds of people, in their different unique personalities. If you are having a problem with some of them, the problem isn’t theirs. You should check yourself, your expectations and attitude. When you are emotionally stable, you don’t like or hate someone because of who they are and what they do. Their personality is just a catalyst to your choice.
What do we learn?
Love is a choice. Chose to be merciful even to those you just don’t fit with. Remembering that Christ loves us even when we don’t deserve it.
In the same way, remember love as the butterfly-in-the-stomach-type, isn’t everything. So don’t just go into a relationship with your only reason as “in love feeling”. But build you foundation on the Christ. The rest will fit in place when we give Him everything.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
